Student Success and Retention Conference 2025

The College of Business at George Fox University is one of three of the largest programs at the university, with 350 students, but struggles with one of the worst retention rates for first-year students. Leveraging information from student exit surveys, the faculty implemented multiple strategies for student engagement and success. In this workshop, you will learn the number one reason students drop out of college after their first year and discover specific learning classroom activities and special events faculty designed and facilitated to address the concern. Participants will have an opportunity to share best practices and practice one of the student engagement activities.
